Job Description

We are looking talents for our Mariscala Plant for the position of:

Materials Process Development in Engineering - Packaging and Processes

Management full-time position

Start date: As soon as possible.

Location: Mariscala Plant, Apaseo el Grande, Gto.

Work schedule: Full-time position.

Required Profile:

  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Global Quality.
  • Certification in Packaging and Process Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Technical Standards and Project Management related to Materials, including:
    • Supplier Master List.
    • Packaging Molds Management.
    • Safety Systems (SAFE).

Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office package and previous experience working as Executive Assistant (preferred).

Role Scope:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and collaborative environment? In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and execute key technical projects that directly impact our supply chain and product quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Projects Delivery: You will be responsible for leading timelines, validating materials and processes, and creating technical standards and validation protocols. Additionally, you will lead systems applications, conducting technical and operational assessments, training personnel, and facilitating technology transfer to the local manufacturing organization and contract manufacturer leaders. Your goal will be to ensure the technical readiness of projects with a focus on excellence.

  • Supply Assurance: You will support the ongoing business supply chain by leading the resolution of supply and production issues. You will implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the business interests and ensure operational continuity.

  • Quality Assurance and Material Assurance: You will ensure compliance with technical standards on-site, supporting the resolution of material quality issues with suppliers and contract manufacturers, as well as conducting quality audits at the site.

  • Improve Gross Margin: You will lead cost-saving projects, focusing on contract manufacturer cost efficiencies and reducing costs for raw and packaging materials.

  • Leverage Suppliers' Research & Development Capabilities: You will collaborate with suppliers to drive simplification, cost improvements, and the development of more robust systems.

  • Technical Mastery: You will develop mastery in materials and process technologies on-site, becoming a technical reference within the organization.

  • Global Collaboration: You will work on projects with global and regional teams, fostering a continuous learning environment and professional growth.

Job Qualifications

  • Available to work in Mariscal Planta, Apaseo el Grande, Gto.

  • Bachelor´s degree graduate with Excel Knowledge.

  • Experience and interest in project management including different stages of projects, critical paths.

  • Ability and desire to balance multiple projects simultaneously, in different stages.

  • Genuine interest in manufacturing and in the total supply chain  

    Ability to work independently while understanding how/where to get expertise or support (critical thinking).

  • Drive High level personal accountability and ownership for results

    Strong Communication in English (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills.
