Delivers a sustained level of technical insights derived from foundational perfection in Process procedural work, along with some level of applications work, independently develops methodologies, interprets data, summarizes, and proposes logical next steps based on the information in hand. Owns and owns the technical assessments of key elements of a project (e.g., technology demonstration, technical issue anticipation and resolution, test method design and application, etc.). Projects include material qualifications, new product development, new process development and transformation understanding. Executes good quality MOPD deliverables.
Job Qualifications
This is a local role in the P&E Invent Tomorrow organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electronics and control systems needed to execute tests in the Baby A PRL. We are looking for Individuals who are passionate about hands-on experimentation and basic science to support R&D initiatives. He or She performs the basic and critical experimental work of day-to-day applied research including
- Using electrical test equipment to diagnose high speed assembled product electrical problems
- Performing preventative maintenance/upgrades to equipment
- Modifying existing equipment/software to enable new testing requirements
- Analyzing trends/technical data to gain insights on controls and identify issues pro-actively
- Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, process, and utilities power & controls equipment
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems · Troubleshooting and supervising variable frequency drives, servo control systems, robotics
- Troubleshooting and repairing machine and process control equipment
- Building technical skills in others
