
Platform Engineer – IT Service Management

We are looking for a strong individual to join our Modern IT Service Management (ITSM) team in Intelligent Operations, GTO-TOP, and Corporate Function-IT, in the role of a Platform Engineer. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple domains including IT Service Management, ServiceNow Platform, and Event Management AIOps solution. You will have a chance to work on implementation of advanced capabilities like agentic AI for ITSM, event orchestration, as well as lead the transformation of 200+ integrations.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and deploy new capabilities, integrations, and automations across ITSM applications, the ServiceNow platform, Event Management systems.
Analyze business requirements and deliver technical design to meet client requirements
Build and improve third-party integrations with ServiceNow using industry-standard protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP).
Support the evolution of our development environment by applying modern software engineering practices, including Agile, Continuous Deployment, and DevOps methodologies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between platform capabilities and business objectives.
Job Qualifications
Mandatory:
Ability to develop and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable code in at least one programming language (preferred languages: Python, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of Software Development concepts (e.g., OOP, TDD, Unit/Integration testing, Encapsulation, Interfaces design, Software integration, Software Development Lifecycle)
2+ years of professional experience in a technical role, ideally Software/Platform or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
Ability to efficiently collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams including: SREs, AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Owner.
Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness to learn new technologies and paradigms (e.g. ServiceNow, JavaScript, Azure Cloud, Agentic AI) and staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the ITSM, observability and EM space.
Nice to Have:
Experience with ServiceNow or ITSM platforms.
Experience with delivering and administrating solutions with cloud services frameworks, preferably Azure.
Experience with platform/system integrations (especially via REST APIs)
Basic knowledge of AI Algorithms.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator or other relevant certs)
