We are seeking a Beauty Products Research Innovator with strong digital and project leadership skills to advance the science of our research capability, methods, and data understanding within our skin, personal care, and salon brand categories.
A products research innovatory project lead will spend their days collaborating with internal technologists working on the latest research techniques and thinking of ways to make them applicable for the Beauty Business. The project lead will integrate the new tools into study designs and protocols to enable deeper consumer learning that leads to business impact via product delight. The core team consists of products researchers, sensory scientists, data scientists and methods experts, who will all collaborate to develop the optimal test plan that the leader will then complete in partnership with internal or external suppliers. Making connections, translating what's possible into executable test plans, and turning the insights from the data into actionable business deliverables is consistently the day in the life of a Products Research Innovation Project Leader.

By providing core measurement capabilities and driving clarity in consumer science methods, we aim to deliver effective and efficient solutions for our Category Products Research Partners, enabling upskilling and advanced insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultancy and Coaching: Provide expert consultancy and coaching to project teams, ensuring optimal use of tools and techniques for consumer test designs and data analysis.
Custom Exploratory Research: Develop and design custom exploratory research using qualitative and quantitative approaches to support product and package design and other business deliverables.
Innovation and Capability Building: Identify and reapply innovative consumer research methodologies, both internally and externally, to uncover valuable consumer insights and drive strategic decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and activate ground breaking research methodologies.
Manage and optimize connected research devices and platforms to enhance data collection and insights.
Anticipate research needs and translate them into actionable research objectives and protocols.
Foster key partnerships with category project teams, external vendors, and Corporate Functions to grow the beauty business and enhance methods/device capability.

Job Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Food Science, or relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years of Products Research Technical Mastery: Within Science across quantitative and qualitative methodologies, both traditional and leading-edge methods. Have passion for the consumer and ability to identify, create and champion new PR methods to provide better solutions that optimize timing and success of initiatives.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to effectively communicate insights to project partners.
- Ability to coach and develop PR Skills of less experienced products researchers. Ability to influence more experienced products researchers to enable adoption of new tools & techniques.
