Throughout the history of P&G Chile, several important milestones help tell the story of our commitment to the country. Recently, P&G reinforced our long-term commitment to Chile with the opening a new distribution center; P&G also operates a manufacturing facility and Distribution Center in Santiago. Below are a few highlights of the events that led us to where we are today:
- 1983: P&G began to introduce global brands to the Chilean market, starting with Camay and Crest
- 1993: P&G partnered with “Compañía Manufacturera de Papeles y Cartones” to jointly develop the diapers and feminine pads business in Chile, and other countries in the region
- Today: P&G is one of the most respected consumer goods companies in Chile - our products are used in almost every Chilean home
Historically, P&G Chile has been a leader in various categories such as hair care, razors and baby care through our brands Pantene, Gillette and Pampers.
