Overview of the job

The Site Physician plays a crucial role in crafting the strategic direction of occupational health services at the P&G Cabuyao Plant. This position focuses on implementing health initiatives, using data analytics for informed decision-making, and driving process improvements to establish a compliant and balanced health system. The Site Physician will collaborate with various collaborators to prioritize health and safety as the organization advances towards perfection, digitization, and simplification.

Your team


The Site Physician will report directly to the Country Medical Leader based in Manila, Philippines. He/ She will lead all aspects of the Cabuyao Plant Health Services Unit, which includes one Occupational Health Nurse and four contractor nurses who run 24/7 operations. In addition to support from the local P&G Medical Team, the Site Physician will collaborate with medical teams across other markets, gaining access to extensive resources thathat are importantr developing the capabilities needed to succeed in this role.

  • Data Analytics: Skilled in developing data-driven initiatives that effectively address the requirements of both employees and the organization.

  • People Management: Able to encourage the Cabuyao Medical Team to cultivate a collaborative culture that supports efficient and balanced daily operations.

  • Wellbeing Champion: Effective in influencing site leaders to prioritize and invest in employee wellbeing initiatives that improve plant operations.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Clinical:

    • Conduct case reviews and medical assessments for employees and applicants, evaluating restrictions and accommodations required per individual.

    • Address health-related concerns, including work-related illnesses and injuries.

  • Health and Safety:

    • Maintain and assess site Health Systems capabilities to continuously improve health and safety related processes.

    • Supervise processes to ensure compliance with laws and corporate governance.

    • Be responsible for medical monitoring initiatives.

    • Collaborate with HSE teams on significant medical case investigations.

  • Business Alignment:

    • Collaborate with site leadership and key departments to establish effective relationships.

    • Regularly update business leaders on Health Systems Key Elements (HSKE) performance and strategies.

  • Professional Development:

    • Maintain an active medical license and expertise in Occupational Health.

    • Engage in internal and external networks to apply continuous improvement on internal health systems.


 

Job Qualifications

  • Valid medical license to practice in Philippines

  • Completed Basic Course in Occupational Medicine from the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine

  • Preferably with specialization in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or related fields.

  • 2-3 years of validated experience in a clinical setting, preferably within an industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of Philippine health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proven experience in policy development, process optimization, and data analysis.

  • Possesses experience in managing mental health cases, coordinating wellness-related initiatives, and staying informed about the latest trends in well-being

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with complementary teams.

  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
