OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
Job Title: Sales Specialist MR
The Sales Specialist MR is responsible for ensuring end to end execution of India Grooming’s in store sales fundamentals and visibiity program. This involves close coordination with the MR customers, working with on ground/ in store staff and P&G MR SDO teams to ensure right execution of Gillette and Venus visibility programs across the country. This will also involve close engagement with POSM (point of sale merchandise) vendors that P&G works with to ensure quality and timely supply of POSM to enable in store execution. This individual will also lead the Gillette Counsellor and In store merchandiser’s capability and monthly planning and execution drumbeats (target setting, priority setting and incentive planning ).
Candidates must have a graduate and post graduate degree (MBA) with minimum 5 years of Modern Trade Sales experience as ASM in FMCG space
YOUR TEAM
You will report directly to the Grooming Category Sales Leader, working closely with the Grooming SREs/ Trade Strategists to understand GTM priorities , SF goals and sufficiency to deliver them.
HOW SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Process Implementation: Successfully implement the monthly drumbeat of Sales fundamentals and in store execution for Grooming
- Leading large teams: Lead planning and execution with large counsellor and ISM teams to drive execution
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate agility in learning and acquiring new skills to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Monthly Planning: Create monthly plans for E2E Sales fundamentals, Visibility program and counsellor program, ensuring timely scheduling and execution
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with P&G SDO, Customer teams and suppliers
- Execution Excellence : Execute the month SF and Visibility plan r with the stakeholders
- Training : Responsible for capability of MR counsellor and ISM teams
- Monthly Reporting: By account reporting of execution monthly along with RCA and help needed to fix
- Escalation Management: Assess and escalate critical findings or issues to senior leadership as needed

- Leading large teams: Ability to lead execution and get work done from multi-functional teams/ stakeholders
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence.
- Communication Skills: Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, team-oriented environment, demonstrating leadership and collaborative skills.
This role demands some travel within India hence the candidate should be open to travel.
