My IT Elite Experience
IT Elite was a great experience and one that I would recommend to all college students interested in this industry. The week provided an opportunity to interact with current P&G employees and upper management, while contributing to a solution of a real business problem faced by the company. After meeting the type of people I would be working with and seeing the type of work I could be doing, I knew I wanted to be at P&G. I know several of us felt the same way since we all work here now and are friends to this day.
Advice from RJ
The experience is well worth a week of your summer vacation. The people you meet and the opportunities that can open up to you, including future internships and a career at P&G, are something that can have a lifelong impact.
Spend a week here and you’ll see that what they mean when they say their people are their greatest asset. Even as an intern and a new hire it was amazing the respect you received from the rest of the employees and the responsibilities entrusted to you in your role. The work is always changing but the fundamental characteristics of problem solving, project management and leadership are always critical. There are always opportunities to challenge yourself and your managers will always work to help you achieve your goals.
