Getting started

Upon joining Marketing you will be given responsibility and challenged every day. Most CEOs and company leaders have passed through Marketing.

As a P&G marketeer, you’ll become an expert in what your consumers want and what motivates them. You’ll know exactly what your competitors offer and what they don’t. As the owner of your brand’s equity, you’ll have the expertise to decide your brand’s next move through advertising, media and any other marketing vehicles. You’ll also create your brand’s strategic vision for the future whilst being exposed to many other brand situations. You will also have responsibility from day one, starting with project management and then moving to brand management and eventually category/portfolio of brand's management during the evolution of your career.

The department also offers an alternative career path called Marketing Mastery, whereby you become a regional or global master of your chosen area of expertise, such as Media.
